Abreaction (2018)
Steel, fluorescent lighting, linen, and plastic sheeting
Abreaction is a memorial to televised or hash-tagged tragedy. The piece specifically references the biggest televised tragedy of my lifetime: 9/11, with the double identical tower form but also visually makes allusions to Dario Argento’s Inferno (1980). I want to remember and forget the “victims” and “aggressors” of this modern world.
